FROM THE MAKERS:
Everyone Enjoys It—Even Kids! We think you’ll enjoy the flavor and uniquely satisfying texture. Knowing how good this hot cereal is for kids and adults, I look on with gratification as my 1-and-a-half and 6-year-old kids chow down on their bowls of Eli’s Hot Rockin’. It’s not only my kids that finish their bowls—my friends' kids and grandkids love it too.
Zero Waste & Longevity Have you ever noticed how oatmeal congeals into solid glop as it cools off? Eli’s Hot Rockin’ is different. Throw it in the fridge and reheat it the next day with a little water and a good stir and notice how it retains its indomitable texture! For a change of pace, add some cornmeal and fry it up for some All Star Johnny Cakes!
The Ultimate Balance There is nothing we would add or subtract to a package of Eli’s Hot Rockin’. When I cook it I like to add a pinch of salt, but we don’t add salt to our hot cereal so that our customers have the choice. We strongly recommend nuts if you like them. My favorite nut to use is pecans when the price is right—a challenge these days! We didn’t put them in the package for several reasons: some people are allergic, it increases price point, and it shortens shelf life. I also personally like to add a little coconut oil and maple syrup, both of which I consider healthy in moderation.
Committed to Your Health & Strength The majority of Americans eat breakfast that is high in sugar and or animal fat. Making the switch and starting your day with Eli’s Hot Rockin’ can have a positive impact on your overall health. You’ll feel a boost in your energy level when you make our hot cereal a part of your daily routine. Give it a week or even a month and feel the difference.
