"Growing up with a single mother, I watched as my mom strived to build us a solid and nurturing home life. Having me inspired her greatly to start from the ground up…getting a design degree and her first salary job where she would excel rapidly in her craft. After nearly a decade, she was at a crossroads and my mom had the courage to work as a freelance artist and start her own business. The bravery I now find within myself now, has all to do with the life my mom built for herself and me. 

I am now the young woman, artist, new mother, and business owner. I started Jane Candle Co. during my pregnancy in 2021 because I knew the value of being a stay at home parent. So, now whilst raising my precious baby, I am also immersed in my first business venture that I run alongside my mom. It has been a truly special intergenerational experience that feels full circle, as everything I am building…is for the sake of my daughter.

Jane is the name of our very special dog, whom we rescued almost 12 years ago now. She had a lot of scary health problems in the beginning that we felt so lucky to slowly cure, and since then she’s been a beam of light in our lives. Jane completed our family in so many ways and we’re so thankful for her therapeutic energy she’s blessed us with.  We felt it only appropriate we use her name to exemplify the immense warmth and comfort she has brought into our home life. We are home-bodies and proud of it because having a safe sacred space is a really important part of the human experience. The intention behind our brand is to create the utmost quality home goods that can serve to enrich your home space. Nostalgic smells and the simple act of lighting a candle can bring you into the present and tune into your inner glow."
