I'm a local resident and maker; and I started making earrings after I got my ears pierced and wanted big dramatic earrings that were lightweight. I began with craft paper; and have used maps, MetroTransit bus schedules, handmade paper, and scraps of paper from ArtScraps in St. Paul--whatever catches my eyes!
When I'm not making earrings, I'm crocheting. Or managing data at a local grassroots organization. CraftyCatMN is named for our cat, Keily, who always has to get up in whatever I'm making, whether it's Mod Podge or yarn!
